Anita Chopra, MD FACP

Anita Chopra is an internal medicine physician at UW medicine and is a member of the healthcare equity diversity and inclusion committee at the University of Washington and co-chair of the American College of Physicians IMG Council. She engages in health focused community outreach, which includes organizing free health and dental camps and workshops for the community.

Lauren Corn

Lauren Corn is a graduate student at the University of Washington studying Landscape Architecture and Urban Design & Planning. Her graduate thesis focuses on ameliorating conflict between people and their environment through strategies that enhance place attachment.

Lauren works with the Seattle Street Sink fabrication, installation, and outreach teams.

Elizabeth Golden, AIA

Elizabeth Golden is an architect and Associate Professor in the Department of Architecture at the University of Washington. Her work engages socially-driven, community based projects that combine expertise from the University of Washington, nonprofit organizations, governmental agencies, and other educational institutions.

Elizabeth leads the general organization and graphic communication of the Seattle Street Sink project.

Mehr Grewal

Mehr Grewal is a middle school student in Bellevue who is passionate about community outreach with a focus on public health. Mehr started her campaign, Clean Hands Save Lives, six years ago to raise awareness about hand hygiene.

Mehr is the mastermind behind the Mobile Hand Wash project, which is an extension of her project to emphasize the importance of hand washing as a do-it-yourself vaccine.

Brice Maryman, FASLA, PLA

Brice Maryman is a founding principal at MxM Landscape Architecture LLC in Seattle. Brice is a recipient of the 2017-2018 Fellowship for Innovation and Leadership from the Landscape Architecture Foundation, which supported the study of proactive responses to increased homelessness in the city’s streets, parks and other spaces.

Brice brings his unwavering commitment to inclusive urban environments and landscape expertise to the Seattle Street Sink project.

Tiffani McCoy

Tiffani McCoy is Advocacy Director at Real Change Homeless Empowerment Project. Real Change provides low barrier employment and takes action for economic, social, and racial justice.

Tiffani spearheaded the “Everybody Poos” campaign, an effort to increase the number of toilets in Seattle, and she brings her organizer expertise to her role as liaison between Real Change and the Seattle Street Sink team.

Rick Mohler, FAIA, NCARB

Rick Mohler, FAIA, NCARB is an architect and educator who leverages synergies between his teaching, research, practice, and advocacy to promote just, policy-driven cities, while building connections between the academy, profession, government, and community. He is an Associate Professor of Architecture in the College of Built Environments at the University of Washington, an Urban@UW Fellow, Affiliate Fellow of the UW Runstad Center for Real Estate Studies, former co-chair of the AIA Seattle Public Policy Board and co-chair of the Seattle Planning Commission.

Rick leads the design and fabrication effort for the Seattle Street Sink. 

Isabela Noriega

Isabela Noriega is a graduate student at the University of Washington pursuing a degree in architecture and landscape architecture.

Isabela conducts site research and outreach for the Seattle Street Sink Project, in addition to working closely with the fabrication and installation teams to understand site conditions.
